was that car blue before ?

  3. Nope! It's always been bare aluminum! The guy lives in Santa Margarita. He went to one of Ron Covell's panel banging workshops. Went out and bought all the tools, including a plenishing hammer and English Wheel. Took him years to craft this body. When he was done and put the car together, he sold all the tools.

I discovered for some reason, even though I am still "watching", somehow the notifications part changes....its bloody weird .
SO , If I don't see any bangers notifications for a few days , I log in and unwatch the current banger thread...then immediately "watch" it again , making sure I have changed the pop up panel from the default to " receive email notifications". Seems to work afterwards.

Tachs are easy honest. There are a lot around I must have 20+ NOS mechanical ones
I've brought them all over for years.

Even have one for my Wife's Siata OHV equipped, supercharged Topolino Roadster
I have a S/W winged 4500 in my 39GMC for 30 years. Came outta an aircraft and ever has a built-in engine hours counter

Ask Want37 here on this tread.

Just a sample........... siata tach.JPG smith big tach.jpg ac tach.jpg

Had some fun with cardboard. 96" wb, 8" drop in the front, 7" in the rear. 6" engine set back. 4" stagger on the seats. Ran out o material...ass has gotten bigger, had to expand the seat width (both combined) from 34" to 36".

thank you! it was off the last speedster, the buyer got aggressive on the price, so i started unbolting parts until we came to an accord.

Funny enough, I mulled over following the shape radiator top all the way back and having a really pinched upper cowl. It is still very narrow, but, not as narrow as the Laurel-Roof cars.

    Andrew....
That car is a fake FRONTY lovely car if it ever gets a real motor.
It's kicking round the US somewhere. I once knew it's story but it's been thru so many hands the story has changed over and over

    Doug

I like the "In case I get lost return me to" tag on the grill.......

@edfueler looks like a lot of fun. I thought I got covered in mud at the dirt drags running twice right after the water truck. That doesn't compare to your mud. Haha.
