Good to see Dave got the wheelie thing under control, after having to replace the front axle!

Jim, sorry I didn't get to talk to you. Did get to see you make some good passes. In honor of you I drove the Falcon from home to the track. Now I got to get a trailer and trailer it home since the trans blew. Oh well, so much for a street or strip car!!

Well Ethan and I had a ball. It was definitely worth the wait. A special thanks to the Meltdown crea for a great event. Here are a few more pics. I am trying to go to sleep and rest up for the trip home in the morning.

 

Do you need to line up a trailer? Mines empty, now that my 55 is home and in the garage. By the way......55 Chevys roll a lot easier, when they don't have a driveshaft.

John, my brother is coming over in the morning and were picking up Joe Miller's trailer. I already have a new pump that I had from a couple years back that is brand new. Thanks for the offer!!

 

Just rolled out of the Meltdowns and headed back to the wonderful state of Misery...oops sorry Missouri in the a.m.
WE HAD AN ABSOLUTE BLAST! I just wanted to thank the entire Meltdown Staff for all the hard work this weekend and the preparations etc. to pull off such an amazing event. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. Your efforts are very much appreciated! This is not only what drag racing used to be like, but moreover what it should be like!!!

 

That's my brothers car, it's all alone in the lanes because we broke the toploader Friday night and left it there overnight because the trailer was left at the hotel. I guess we're optimistic.....

 

I watched a little of the live feed last night. Looked like a good time for all. There was a blown fed that was about to run and net congestion killed the feed. I was dissappointed at that.

 

What an incredible event, Big thanks to the Meltdown staff for being super helpful and friendly, we got to race and meet many HAMB friends , the Hilltown Shaker ran great, so many cool cars
