My weekend was almost over before it began
. I pulled out the hydrometer thursday at 1130 pm and found it broken. Without it we cant mix fuel. Luckily my son lives 20 minutes for kinsley fuel injection outside of detroit. I gave him a 911 call. During his lunch hour at chrysler he jumped in a demon and with the rear tires smoking picked up a pair of hydrometers. I dont want to get caught again like this so a spare is money well spent. He got to byron at 9:30 so crew is all here. Fuel is mixed. Were ready to go.

Made it down this year for the forst time. Awesome event! Doubt my family will let us miss the next one.

Yeah we kinda got lucky with our little combo. And surprised even ourselves! Both very pleased to have us a 12 second pile of junk. I figured he's playing hard to get! lol

Had a great day to day . watch a lot of you run! Got to meet Jame's { great guy] and watch the heart break of Brian [racer x ] crash, [ I would have just sat down right on the track and cried ] and thank goodness he is alright. And I was also sadden that the Melt Down Curse raised it's ugly head against Scott again and he did not make it.
