I do like the wood and don't need no viagra! It's lasted over 80 years, and still going strong for another 80.

I actually had a LP and sold it because it was plain ugly with the top down and I figured I'd want the top down.... alot! So, I swapped the body for my '31 Cabriolet body.

I posted one picture. Nothing else.
And immediately someone starts screaming around.
Insinuating "negative positions" and telling me I should take my medicine.
    Very strange.
    Very squeamish.
    Very prejudiced.

I think it is a pretty arty photo. It actually has good composition, good contrast, and a variety of texture. If it was an abstract painting some would love it. If you like auto and add art check out the link he attached.

I did check out his link and did not understand why he posted that picture, with zero words to go with it, considering the content of his link.

My question, what are you trying to say in the photo ?? If anything.

following a previous post about rear window frames for 1932--1938 : roadsters, roadster pickup, cabriolet convertibles, phaetons. I found these pictures of this original GM rear window frame , cast in aluminum with wood frame that goes on the inside of the car. It has a very distinctive look from your normal mail slot. Extremely well designed and engineered piece. I do not know anybody that offers this for sale repo.........if anybody knows post a reply to this thread

I think a 4-5-6 speed stick allows you be more a part of the car, as your actually working at driving and getting involved, rather than just planting your right foot for gas or brake.
The car in the avatar was originally supposed to have a 6 speed stick back in 1996 when I was redoing it.

I made the mistake of asking my 20 year old son what he thought and proceeded to demonstrate having a PHANTOM stick in the car I was driving. After going thru all 6 gears up and then reversing 6--4--2 coming to a stop. His answer was why do you want to do THAT .......! Car ended up with a 700 R4. auto

My build of the 35 roadster SHAZZBOTT has a brand new tremec T56 magnum sitting in the box.
Looking forward to the day I can drive it and shift the car , hear the webers gulping air , the gilmer belt drive whining away and the stainless specialties mufflers producing an earthy rumble .

foxforcefive.... That's a 28 cowl. Not by reading the tag, but the 27 and 28 cowl are different in the area above the bead line at the firewall.

When someone is very old or has leg-problems or - worst case - only one leg: An automatic transmission is a great help.
