  4. Very nice. Are you putting them in the outer fender as well or did the location change?

Yeah man....I start with the idea of put it in the outer fender, but the antenna when pushed inside, it was going to cross the inner fender and hit the tire...so change the location, but at the end of the day, I think it was better looking like this...

  8. That's what I was guessing, couldn't imagine a set in both locations....

I also think they look good where you ended up putting them!

  11. Two antennas looks weird to me unless the passenger has their own radio. Even so one antenna is sufficient. Is there a second (dummy?) radio on dash. Nice metal work but doesn't overcome the strange extra antenna.

I rather like the look on that car but that would work pretty well if you were running the stock radio on the dash and a head unit with AM-FM what not hidden away out of sight as I plan to do on my 48 with the dash I plan for it. I want the AM radio in the dash to work but 90+ % of the time will listen to the other unit.

Two antennas was the usual amount to French, 3 would be weird!

Nice workmanship drain tubes are extra and for the skeptics out there two antennas are an old school layout and is correct for the period. NO QUESTION! Baron Von Vasnic

Everyone who doesn't know customs asks me why my car has two antenna's, i started telling everyone that one was am and one was fm. On that note, has anyone had reception issues after frenching their antennas. My stock antenna sat on top of the right front fender, had a repair mast on it and worked great. I frenched the new ones in the side of the fender about six inches away from where it was and have tried everything since then and can't get back the reception i had before. It's driving me crazy!

Back in olden times we used Chrysler hemi spark plug tubes, of course they were plentiful then.
