I got to the park on Highway 50 in Carson City early, about 10am. Yeah those guys are really laid back. Parked next to this real deal 27 T. Bob bought it as a run down but well built hot rod. Then painted and upgraded it. Beautiful car. Did meet and enjoyed talking to John_____ "T bucket plans" out of Chicago. Gary
Seen it there myself. Didn't take any pics, lots of nice rides there Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
Nice looking roadster! Rebel, with your disdain for what the average T Bucket has become, I'm surprised you attended.
I was the neighbor to the original builder. Yes it's well built. Different lettering Sent from my iPad using H.A.M.B.
You know Fred I was just curious about these guys. Just as I thought nice people but all joiners and like the group as much as they like their rods. Which I am not. They do love their buckets and like to drive them but I'm sure most of them towed their rides there as I did.
Thought I'd chime in. I was the original builder of the roadster (the guy that lived around the corner from hiboy). Guess I'll have to change my avatar. Drug out the build album and snapped a few photos from the build.
Steel rebel, thanks for posting. Had a great time watching it come together Sent from my iPad using H.A.M.B.
??? Jalopy, should I have said " I too attended the CTR Rockabilly Riot, I seen that T, and many other T's in attendance, along with many other rod type vehicles, but while driving over there from Quincy, my phone died, so I wasn't able to take pics myself. But thank you for taking the time to do so." Or am I just not understanding your response to mine? I might just be a little Hazy from the show, so please forgive my ignorance.
