    Me either, Six Ball; 40 years behind the parts counter makes me think most Lucas problems are on old, poorly maintained, or just plain worn-out vehicles...
    But still, if I had a Lucas pacemaker I would think twice about going outdoors on cold rainy nights...

    On night my old 441 Victor ran out of gas a couple of miles from home. I turned on the lights, put it in 2nd, held the compression release, and pushed it home . The headlight was just as bright as when it was running. But the Lucas Lingerie, I wish I had more experience there.:rolleyes:

    Well, that was a rather uplifting post; far from pointless...

    Popular Mechanics July 1936
    I have almost every issue of these from 1934 to somewhere in the mid 60's, some of stuff that guys built in there basements ,for the times, is incredible...it's funny to see people's ideas and stories of there views on the future ,from there time period,and the fact that some of the stuff that seamed wacky to them we have seen it happen and then some...[IMG][IMG]

    @Six Ball
    Do you own these brochures in real?
    I think I have one of them also.
    They have all these nice illus inside with little characters like "Delcotron" explaining stuff.
    Or am I wrong?
