It will work until get ready to stage for the finals of a race. Then it will either not work or not release.
    That's my luck.

Good news is, it'll be easy to swap out and someone might have a spare at the track!!

If you never had one not release ,you are in for the ride of your life when the front end comes down and the front brakes are locked up and your wheels are not straight and you are turning about 8500 rpm's and reaching for another gear. Ask me how I know this.

And i spent most of my day (er, all damn day) making big chunks of Lexan into smaller chunks of Lexan...... Also made an utter mess of my shop in the process. The windows are all to size i just need to tint them and mount. so for the photos they are just laying in the window channel. side back window].jpg back heart window.jpg windshield.jpg big mess.jpg

Great looking Henry!! I do have one question though. Is a mid plate allowed? Just curious for my builds sake.

Yes, more so than the front plate for sure. I know Quain runs them in his. You will still want a mount of some sort on the tail shaft though or they ten to crack the housing.

In the words of Rusty Sampsel....."There are two stages of race cars, broken or in the process of being broken! ". Truer words have never been spoken!!!!

That looks like a Biondo unit. That is what I have always ran. Have had one in service for almost 20 years without failure.

  25. Ok saw the reply on FB - so just shoot the colored clear over the lexan?

I used VHT Niteshades, in red. Doesn't come out as clear as it should but not bad. Spray the inside of the lexan! You can get colored tint in sheets on ebay.
