    UPDATE. ..... 7/8/17
Because so many people have been asking how Tiger is doing, we just wanted to give an update to let everyone be better informed. Tiger sustained a traumatic brain injury in the car accident. He was life flighted to a trauma hospital where he was stabilized before they performed an emergency craniotomy to relieve a large hemorrhage from his brain. He was kept in ICU for 3 weeks. He was than moved to a regular room and they are now working on transferring him back to Ohio for rehab. He still has a long road ahead of him for his recovery.

Thank you for your prayers , Bill

IMG_0018.jpg Tiger Allison (Gearhd69) and myself Bill Huff (novatattoo) were headed out to Wildwood, New Jersey the morning of Friday June 9th in Tiger's 1950 Chevy Fleetline to attend The Race of Gentlemen. A little over 2 hours into our trip, tragedy struck when we were involved in a multi car accident.

Both Tiger and my self had to be lifeflighted from the scene of the accident. Thankfully, later that afternoon, I was released from the hospital stitched and pretty beat up. Tiger's injuries however were more serious requiring emergency surgery. The extent of his injuries will force him to spend months in the hospital recovering. Each day he is improving and the outlook gets better, but bills will mount up and resources will be stretched. We are looking to help our good friend out in anyway we can, every dollar adds up so no donation is too small.

There is no finer individual than Tiger Allison! Many times he has quietly helped people in need without any fanfare. Now He and his family need help getting through a difficult time in their life. Please keep Tiger and his family in your prayers.

    Thank you for your time,
    Bill Huff

Just a teeny update. Tiger continues to improve. However he will be under medical care for some time yet.

..... and me ..... got my 17 stitches out of my cheek today. Still sore and bruised. But I'll be ok.
    Later,Bill

Grateful all are walking, talking and breathing.
We ALL have to be extra cautious in our Rods these days.
Sending good thoughts and healing energy.
    Wish I could do more.

  22. In answer to Ryan's statement: Why...why would someone complain or report trying to help some one?! Isn't that what we're supposed to do, help our fellow man? I know 'go-funds' aren't always legit but they can't get any more legit than laying in a hospital watching your bills implode. Y'all can report me if ya like.....

Money sent one way, and prayers another.

According to the article, it sounds like 25 year old Sumett Gill might have been "distracted", and realized too late that there was a large stationary object partially blocking the road. A disabled tractor-trailer is pretty easy to see if you're paying attention.
