Good find for you, love those J's
Would love to have that 6 in my current 51.
    This is my thrid one

  3. If i still had the engine i would gladly give it to u. But its gone my friend

  4. I really like your Henry J and it's nice that it's built here in Holland (10 miles from where i was born).
Kaiser Jeeps or Nekaf as we call them are still really popular in Holland (still more than 1000 registrated).
The passenger cars from Kaiser on the other hand are really rare and the Henry J
is probably the rarest with less than a handfull remaining. There are some Henry J's in Holland but most of them are later imports from the USA.

  5. This is how the car look now (2 hours ago) with the new rearend in place. It will also get 2-3" higher when the right wheels and tires get on it.

Are you going to radius the rear fenderwells or run a real narrow rear end? Looking good btw.

Looks great!! I picked up a 51 last fall...can't wait to get busy on it. Don't know all the different models but mine has no trunk lid and a 4 banger and it's pretty much all complete. And yes it's down for the gasser look. I got a little dodge hemi in the trade I may use it for power. Also thinking about a big 6 banger...just not sure.

Henry J's should have come from the factory with straight axles in the front and narrow 9"ers in the back with big slicks hanging out in the wind. The only option should have the engine and the choices should have been either an injected SBC or a blown 392 Chrysler.:cool::D
