  2. I somewhat remember that pics of one these Ford Dealership Model 18 / Model B chassis demonstration scale models was posted here on the H.A.M.B..

    I'm not sure if the HAMBer owned it ... or if it was in someone else's private collection ... or if it was in an Automotive Museum.

    Nonetheless ... Yes, it would be very cool to find one of those now!

  3. 85 years later ... and both the Maggini Motor Car Co. and the L.C. Firestine dealership locations are now grocery stores:

    It looks like the L.C. Firestine building has survived admirably, Maggini's not so much :-(

    I took the clear hood for Plexiglass but didn't think Plexi was available before 1938 or 39. Could it be moulded glass?

    You're apparently close to right about the date of Plexiglass being first marketed. Seems it was in 1937.

    I don't know if there was any alternative other than actual glass of some sort in 1932.
     
  9. Side curtains were available for open cars, the 'hood' is probably made out of whatever they used for windows in the curtains....

  12. per N.C.R.S. based on original 1966 coirvette window sticker that dealership sold it was GM Zone 6 Dealer# 408 back in 1966
