Any one know where the best place to buy a one piece floor pan for a 55 chevy. I live in up state NY and don't want to pay freight from CA.

You are going to have to pay the freight one way or another. Call a few places for the best price including shipping or look for shows they are going to. Might get show special. GM Carlisle is coming soon. Maybe Syracuse show? I never went there but with the amount of cars they get some tri-5 Chevy guy should be there.

  6. There ya go! He's got full pans at a good price, BUT it says " drop shipped from manufacturer" so freight might still be pricey

Don's East Coast is good to deal with. He is located pretty fair distance from Olean.

Having been a dealer for these companies and paying the shipping on parts that I ordered for customers, I can tell you that you will pay for shipping one way or another. Like was suggested go to Carlisle or another big swap meet.

  11. You might also ask the vendors if they're bringing displays to any GoodGuys or NSRA events in the northeast.

That's how I got my '32 frame rails w/o paying shipping.
