Monroe WA Swap Meet this weekend!!

I'm in. I'm always in. This is a good meet, weather be damned.

 

I have went to spring and fall Monroe swap meets from in the early seventies, Some are good and some are not. If you find something you want it's a good one if not it's a bad one. Any more it's just a social event. I get to see friends that you only see at swap meets.
I will be going this weekend and have no idea what I will take just something that is easy to load back up when it don't sell

 

Obviously every meet is different but in general is there typically good stuff to be had? I agree, it's always good to take in and shoot the shit with guys but with the 4 plus hour drive still want to see some me good stuff. Preferably some 409 parts...

Well, the week's off to the usual start, R-A-I-N!!! Not sure if I'll be attending the Monroe Mud Bowl and Swap Meet. My 55-57 Chevrolet car and parts guy-friend has several indoor stalls. I am Butch/56sedandelivery.

Well now, it looks like the weather is going to be the best in years for the Monroe Swap Meet. My Tri-Five Chevrolet friend has his box truck loaded up and ready to go. Maybe I'll go after all. I am Butch/56sedandelivery.

Dang, a week before my rocking chair money shows and I have too many projects going on this weekend.

Bought a few items, got a sunburn, some exercise, good day.

 

Keep an eye out for a pretty sweet 1937 Cadillac barn find, that is being driven under its own power to this event so I am told...

 

Back home. Great weather. Sold some 55 Nomad stuff and bought some 32 ford parts. Always spend more than I sell.

 

Made it! Picked up few things 39 flathead crank pulley, spark plug tubes, 29 rear fenders and running boards. Wore my legs off making sure I saw as much as I could. Beauty day!
Now to get ready for Abbottsford

Did anybody see the 1937/38 Cadillac barn find at Monroe for sale.
I was just wondering if it was as good as I had heard???
