Hopefully the judge will make him reimburse everyone he cheated as a condition of his parole....

with using a name like that for his business would be easy to sucker people in to thinking that it is a good company - wish him the worst

The scum will probably continue selling cars while in prison.

Too bad a felony conviction such as this one, doesn't keep him from owning another business and ripping more people off.

The bad thing about these situations is no one follows up on the restitution end of it and the losers never get their money.

Since it was a non-violent crime they won't put him in with the murderers and rapists, will they? Don't they have a "country club" type of prison where they put guys convicted of "white collar" crimes? If it happened in Kentucky he would be eligible for home incarceration after 6 months due to prison overcrowding....

Yes we have a country club prison close here. Its full of idiots that steal anhydrous fertilizer for making meth. It is an open " campus" and a trailer manufacturer has put in an assembly line to use cheap labor.Welcome to America.

Looks to me as if he's a verified thief. In some countries they cut the thief's hand/hands off. Maybe we should send him to one of those countries.

A man was accused of molesting a 12 year old girl here in Sacramento about 10-12 years ago. When he was booked into the county jail the jailers "accidently" put him in the same cell as the girls uncle. Oops..ended up having to take the guy to the hospital.
Hopefully they'll put him in the same cell as someone who was the victim of a ripoff scam and he'll get a little interest on top of the sentencing.

I remember seeing a clip on TV of that guy being interviewed by a news channel about the fraud charges. He refused to talk to the reporter.

It simply depends on how badly you're willing to go after it. Restitution is always collectible. There are no statute of limitations on judgments like that. The need to become a bit creative is sometimes required, but it will happen if you are tenacious.

I remember reading a story several years ago where a prisoner punched a female guard so the other guards put him in the same cell with the biggest and baddest gay dude in the place. The next morning the guy was pretty meek (and probably sore) and they never had any more problems with him. Of course the guards got in trouble when the media found about it....
