Message_1482199032668.jpg Moving right along... Need to start thinking about a rollcage. My buddy Blacksmith Tom helped with a brainstorming session. We got the basic cage laid out and attachment points figured. Now we need landing spots. Main hoop goes here just forward of the wheel house and thru the subrail i made.

Just went through the thread, What a cool build. I had to go back and check out that X bracing in the rails. That must have taken forever. Keep it up!

Old farmer / welder built a bench with a cracked model A block built flush into one corner ...
That let him have the piston holes for odd bolt clearance and hammering detents into sheet metal...
The threaded holes on the block's deck, side and end will let him attach almost anything to it...
He told me if he were to do it again he would have set the block down into the bench 1/4" so he could bolt a plate over the block if he wanted...
Get a cracked block with a history, if you can't find one, I'm sure everyone knows a retired used car salesman that can "invent" car histories...

  21. Wow that's an idea. Could have used something like that many times.

I scored these old bomber seats years ago. They are just the backs....no bottoms or frame or legs. Quick trip to the hardware store and my buddy Jon turned me onto electrical conduit fab its cheap and light too!
