I assume this was one of the "CSS" D100 Sweptlines with 426 wedge? So bitchen!

Not sure myself it was so different I tried to find more info with no luck. This is the first photo I have seen of it. REAL long bed style.

EDIT: Trying with that name CSS D100 Sweptline that earlymopar supplied it is indeed a sweptline but no way to tell if it has the 426 but with Proffit's history I would be it was.

Yes, most of the "CSS” (Custom Sport Special) Sweptlines were long bed models. I think I have only seen 2 short-wide bed version. Here is another that was campaigned in the mid-60’s.

There is a guy local to me that has a couple CSS sweptlines and I think one of them is a short bed but not sure I do know in fact they are 426 wedge powered

[IMG]Does anyone know what kind of wheels these are?
They kind of look like a couple of old Superior wheels that I have

Not a reply for the wheels but a nice back drop of Hollywood Park horse racing track in Inglewood Ca. where I grew up. It's now gone being replaced by the future home of the Los Angeles Rams and San Diego, whoops, LA Chargers...

Enloe: Those are Ansen wheels, they made them as bolt on or had a version that were true knock off style.

We are trying to have the 66 ready to take.
    You should bring your Vette

Thanks for the invite, I'd love to but these days between four grandkids, work and whatever else the wife and family cook up... (No complaints,I'm blessed) I'm lucky if the Vette will get wound out within 20 miles of home a few times till then.

Those rounded spoke wheels are a bitch to identify, unless they're stamped and I'd guess most
aren't. Right now I have some that are called "Magsters". No idea who made or distributed them.
When a friend bought a new '68 Camaro he purchased a 5 spoke set from the dealer and they kept
his stock rims. Again, no idea who made them. The center caps in the photos look unique.

One thing that drives me crazy in wheel ads is the use of "Torqe Thrusts" or "torq thrust style".
And usually people are off base.

The early Ansen Apollo wheels shown on that Mopar are identified by their large center hub and cap.
