  2. It would have been nice if i could have done that style trans mount, but a power glide is a wee bit bigger then a T5.

Finally fitted the body back on last night. Looks like it will be plenty low enough. Might even raise it up a smidge in the back.

Naw, just lower it a little more up front.
    Then you'll be good.

Fitting the 153 back in for good today. Modified the input shaft of the t5 to fit with the older motor flywheel

Ordered up intake manifold carb and header from clifford performance today. Should make a huge difference in the old inline 4

  20. Make sure the header clears your wishbone. I ended up returning (arranged in advance) the one I got from them years ago for my AVATAR. If it doesn't fit return it before you scratch it up trying to make it work.

I like how you did that motor mount. My setup is much like yours, but there isn't much room for the mount.

It clears, but with only a few mm to spare.
One thing I have are pretty large rubber mount pads to help minimize vibration from the 4-banger.

Are you going to be able to keep the rumble seat in the back? Or is that too "grandpa"? I love mine. It adds a flair to the car that everyone wants to see.

From a grampa: when you kick all that "grampa" off it, make sure not too much of the dumb kid shows, OK? ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1492794423.387212.jpg
