  2. Not necessarily, in my opinion. You don't need a 4 link and 14x32's if you're just going to cruise down to the local Tastee Freez .
    At this point, we still don't know if that's the plan ,or not.
     
  3. disclaimer: the one i fixed didn't get a big torque motor.
    i fixed a rotted comet convertible using 2x4[?] square tube to replace the rockers. if i remember correctly, the tube fit right up inside the rocker and when i was done you could still open and close the doors with the car ON THE LIFT. the reason i added this is if your rockers are already bad and need repair, the fix i mentioned will get you half way to putting some decent structure under the car.
