I just called and got my room at LaQuinta. It's been quite a few years since I last attended. Will be great to do it again.

 

I can get it done but I am really slow at it. get the car there and we'll find someone who is better at it then I am. There will be lots of excellent tuners in the hotel parking lot.

I missed number one and a few along the way. but I have been at most of them. The early years were the best, not to say that its no fun now. You never knew what you were going to see in the Ramada parking lot back then.

yes 39 is the number that I remember.

hey Jeff how many years did AA schedule their convention at the HAMB drags? I remember one year Mrs Beaner rescuing me from a recovering lounge lizard.

Oh and you better bring it if you're going to take the Yay Hoo. Your old nemesis told me last year that he was coming loaded for bear this year.

 

I have been to every one, but it has been easy for me to attend. The hardest part for me was the years that we returned from Bonneville, and then went directly to the drags.

I believe my brother, and Bob K have been to everyone. I have had my old truck to all but one, and that year I brought the Henry J gasser the "Okie Twister".

I've never been but this year I'm showing up. Nothing done to bring down so me and my brother and our wives are coming down on the scooters. Drags and a bike ride sweet.

 

Got my room reservation at the La Quinta but they wouldn't give me the discount because I wanted a suite, what's up with that? Oh well, it'll be fun attending again, we missed last year! See ya there...
