Thanks a bunch Bob(GASSERBOB) and Scott (Scooterville). You're welcome! I definitely love comments like that.

Something different - probably OT, from the roof of a 60 Caddy 4 door hardtop.

Nice job giving Top Notch a great shout out, they are such a big part of the Round Up. They support the scene and always provide a great time and outstanding menu all around.

The red/maroon one WAS my favorite, but was so far out of my league that I wasn't hardly worthy to even look at it! LoL!

I also think that owning that car or any car that is too close to perfect would lead me away from what I really want - which would be driving it everywhere without always worrying about something damaging it's perfectness. I definitely am not into the TQ (trailer queen) way of life, which you kind of have to be if you are going to own something like that and show it seriously.

Haha, every time I go through one of your threads, I think " was I actually AT this show?" You see so much more in these cars than I do. Thanks Dan!

Thanks Grady. Actually, I probably get more time to cruise around and look for things since I don't have a car there that I have to be near at times. LSRU is a pretty fluid show too. By that I mean, lots is always changing - cars move all the time, the weather and light changes, etc.

Flyfisher,, you can believe that technical reply above from Dan but I KNOW it is really just magic by Dazzlin' Dan!!:)

I think he just explains things to keep us from knowing the truth!!;)

Thank you Al. I really wish I were a magician - it would help get rid of a lot of extraneous stuff in my pictures easier and they would get done quicker.

Here is a much better shot of that cool old school supercharged flathead from the 40 Ford Pickup.

As always, awesome pics Dan! As one who will likely never see the show in person, thanks for taking the time to share your pics with us!

In case anyone out there wonders why it seems to take me so long to post, compared to all the other LSRU threads currently running, besides my job and other distractions, is because in many cases I get carried away trying to make an image better. Here is an example of one that if you just saw it, you would probably think it is a simple shot, but if you see the before version, you realize its not. In the before image, all the red arrows point to something that was fixed. That is in addition to cropping, color and contrast balancing and some of the other changes I more routinely do. I don't do this on every picture, but rarely is there an image that I post that I just shot and did nothing to. The 53 Ford above is pretty close to right out of the camera for instance. Even though the HAMB now forces you to chose a type for your thread, in this case "event coverage", that is not really what I am attempting to do, for the most part. In my case, basically out to get really good images of cars I have not captured before or did not capture as well. In the interest of trying to provide at least some coverage, I have posted quite a few images that don't really meet my own standards. So hopefully, some of you out there are enjoying this. Thanks, as always, for your patience.
