15 years ago I had a hankerin' for a 1949 Chevrolet 4 door with all the trimmings. I was looking at original cars, six cylinders and all. I even pictured it in my head in a faded green. I saw this one at a swap meet with the hood up and a 350 under the hood and had to have it. nice amateur interior, all the guards and a visor, and the 49 Deluxe steering wheel which is worth $500.00 - $800.00:). thought it would be in my estate sale when I died, but I sold it to buy some property and the deal fell through:mad:. saw it on ebay in the Sacramento area painted blue... anyone seen it?

Here's the before and after photos of the '40 MorDor I had last summer. Got it in may, like the first photo, had it back on the road in July, drove it to Frog Follies and Greasarama, and sold it in September.

Does this count as a mordor? when the family wants to go on Saturday night. This is what we take
1921 touring T 327 sbc auto it was built in 1981 painted in 94 and driven since then with a motor swap here and there with and without B&M super charger ,1x4 & 2x4 tunnel rams
Chrome is gone but still turns heads, I think the patina that has evolved over time has added to the overall feel of a traditional hot rod.Yes I could pull her back apart and shine her up again buts it's taken 96 years to get to this point so why mess with history." If it ain't broke don't fix it."
    Thanks Scott s

I can't put my finger on it but this car really appeals to me and it's one body style I prefer in a 2 door, possibly it's the omission of the door handles that improves the look. HRP
