Hot Rods Cool hood ornament

    Anybody know who produced this cool skull. I shot the photo but the owner said he found it at a swap meet. I gotta have one!!

    I think the hood ornament isn't showing up is because it is Traditional to remove it from a 50's car:cool:

    What in the Hell does a skull hood ornament have do with traditional hot rods? They don't come close to anything I know of thats considered "traditional". I don't recall ever seeing skull hood ornaments on cars back in the day.
    I believe they are a figment of the imagination of those who think they know what it was like back in the day by those who weren't there.
    Skulls and spider webs appeared with the emergence of Rat Rod garbage.

    Skull shift knobs made in shop class very traditional. Got out of hand about the same time as Maltese crosses and spiderwebs during a certain faze. :)
