As the title says, I need pics of the front of 32 ford hiboys. I am trying to figure out placement of shock mounts and headlight mounts. I have F1 shock mounts already. Any help would be appreciated. Please and thank you.
Not necessarily,I have seen shocks mounted with the F1 mounts and another mount for the headlights. The mount that we both used just cleans things up with less clutter. HRP
Thanks for the pictures guys. Detailed shots of F1 shock mounts and headlight mounts would really help. Thanks again.

Ok guys, thanks for everything. I found the answer by accident. I can go with So-Cal speed shop F1 style upper shock mount (polished) on Ebay for $125 OR take my original F1 shock mounts and bend them up.
Probably won't help as we didn't use tube shocks. Rota flo shocks and model a lights used as we already had them before project came along.
These are speedway reproduction mounts that I bent and mounted on my 3W. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
My personal preference....of course others will vary, but I've studied a quite a few to see what is more pleasing to the eye. From a fore and aft placement perspective. I think they look best if the lights are placed in a location similar to the original headlight bar. If you have a headlight bar it would just clear grill insert, and if you don't have a cross bar it would theoretically just clear the grill insert running a string between the two. Too far back and the grille shell starts to look like a protrusion, too far forward and they start to look more like a European something or other. From a height perspective I think it looks right when you take an original bar, cut the ends off and uses those pieces as the new stanchions down to the frame. This keeps the distance between the lights the same as stock (look best in my opinion) . The crown of the cross bar end is about the same height as the lower cross support on the grille insert. This is probably how a lot of guys fabbed them on early hot rods. Lower and they start to look extreme, and most early hot rods didn't go too low to meet laws at the time. A little higher might not look too bad, but you probably didn't have longer pieces unless you used model A ends. Like I said other opinions will vary, and hot rods should be individualized but sometimes you see the front of a 32 Roadster that looks right and it comes down to the light placement.
