Dave Schleuning’s ’47 Ford convertible was given the standard mild custom treatment for the time with frenched headlights, shaved handles, spotlights and lakes pipes. Jim Neuzil’s 1951 Chevy is visible in the background.

 

The old trucks didn't have much for driver comfort, winters must have been warmer then! How much could these trucks haul and how fast could they go?

Fastest used car lot! This was Airline auto sales on Holt Ave. in Pomona Ca. around 1965 or so. Probably during Winter Nationals week.

 

I believe the retractable hardtop was the Skyliner in 1957.

It's full name was the Fairlane 500 Skyliner for 1957.
