I like tall "T's". The nephew has one. On that one the spare doesn't suck, but would look better without. Sits nice, and the nailhead is cool..
It'd be great to see more Ts like this make a come back. Not everything needs to be chopped within an inch of its life to be cool.

Very cool car. Sorry if I missed it, but what kind of transmission was behind the Buick engine? Buick standard transmissions were fairly rare.
I always liked those tall full fendered T coupes when they showed up in the magazines in the 60's. This sedan showed up at the East-West flathead run in Monitor a couple of years ago and caught my attention.
One of my favorites that is in Bowling Green for the Hot Rod Reunion every year... Keep spreading the Propaganda
If this is the car I'm thinking of, It's been around for awhile. I have several pictures of it from being at Columbus NSRA nationals. I really, really like that car.

Love 'em..For some people,they're also practical.A friend of mine who played college basketball loves his.Years ago,I used to go back and forth between my A and a BMW 3.0 CS as DD's.He wanted the Euro thing,so I turned him on to a real nice Saab 99.the T of foreign sport sedans.6'7" and he still had plenty of head room.And both so er.......interesting,too
Love it! Hand crank is a neat touch. Is that a beanbag ash tray on the floor? I've never seen it and must not have that back issue of Hot Rod, as I'd have recalled it as a San Diego car. We don't see many T Buckets or T Coupe/Sedan Hot Rods around anymore. Makes me wonder how many are salted away in garages ready to see the light of day. Now that Model A's have bumped up in price, I feel the Model T is the "new A".
OK you got me with this one,, normally I prefer a 'Bonneville' chop on a T coupe, but this one is very nice

I wonder if that pretty blue tall top coupe is still in San Antonio? A friend of the owner said it was safely ensconced in a garage, just getting older. Does anyone know if W. H. is still with us ?
I have chopped many hot rods ,but I kept my 26 T coupe stock sky scraper tall. It sure helps sitting at red lights not looking like a goof ball bending over just to see ,LOL. Actually I did chop 2 inches at the front to give it a slope look.
