My Merc , been on the back burner for years. Always tied up with customer car's . But that will be coming to an end this year. Four customer cars left to finish and then I am done. I am going to be 62 this year and the last time I had a finish driving car I was 50! Larry

 

This tread is great it's nice to know I'm not alone when it comes to time and funds. A lot of really cool stuff everybody keep them coming!!!

 

Mine is moving forward slowly. Currently saving up for a '29 roadster body.

Well I scrolled and mine is a total POS compared to most of the projects. But here it is anyway. Oh don't mind the old man he just hangs out here with us young guys.

 

My '32 Plymouth Project. 2dr Sedan Convertible, one of only 690 built, makes it quite a bit rarer then a '32 Ford B-400. Power will come from a '58 Dodge 325 Hemi.

 

Hope to finish it this spring / summer 34 cab 32 box. Figure out next project.

 

Always looking for parts for the Pontiac, pick at it here and there


My 63 Fairlane Squire is what I'm concentrating on now.

The two I am working on. 58 has maybe two more times of driving 6 hours to finish. Was my dad's car, trying to get it going for my mom so she can drive the piss out of it. 48 I need to finish weld the chop and get body off the frame to finish rear suspension. replace body mounts and get media blasted. I have the engine, still looking for trans and other small particulars, but have just about everything but time to finish.

 

Don't have a recent photo. Just got nice new Caterpillar grade 8's to fix reco f/end back in. No dough, taking forever.

Project Sedan is almost a car again !

 

47 Dodge pickup. This will get done this spring/summer (hopefully). It needs to be built pretty much outside. I'm waiting for the weather to warm up a bit more, hope to start by the end of the month. I've been collecting parts, most everything is here, should be a pretty quick build. Gene

I don't consider the '59 tbird a project since I drive it every day. This one is on the drawing board although most of the chasis is already sorted and found.

 

Here is what I started with the first part of Oct 16 , hope to be driving June 17

 

November 16 and Feb 17

 

Sold the Stewdy project that just sat, and drug home the Nash project.....Nash will now sit cause I just bought a 215 nailhead to put in the Bugeye......What a hobby!

 

Are you building an Elky convertible? Looks like convert cowl with station wagon rear body, That's what I'd do. ;-) Cool projects, nice front end work and chop on the Merc.

Do you have a build thread on the 48 chop? Looks nice.

 

I have to get rid of this money pit. I'm in so deep now I'll never get out. (The truck, not the Corvette)

 

I could fill this up with falcons, fairlanes and a comet and also throw in a 48 ford business coupe.
