The shoebox is stunning. The mild chop is nice. I'd like to see a side profile featuring the back of the car. Ford ended the drip rail abruptly on these 4 door cars. Also the C pillar seemed wide and out of proportion. Did the torch man clean that act up?

  2. If I'd seen that before I sold mine I would've kept it and whacked it.

Looks like Econoline van/truck headlight bezels trimmed into the original grille. Nice job done, looks good.

20170104_133328.jpg My 37 Lincoln Zephyr project will done soon. More doors isn't always bad. Do what you want. At the end of the day it is your car. Great thread.

IMG_0207.JPG Ford did not offer a Fourdoor Victoria Convertible Sedan in 33 , nor did the Sedans have a Decklid , only storage was behind the rear seat ( unless you added a big box on the back ) so it is a custom

Had this cool little tempest for a while, as a daily. She had 14000 original miles, on her 326 v8. She was going to appear in Rod And Custom young guns, and they killed it. I was in my 20s FB_IMG_1634506525856.jpeg

The way I see it, at this age, they're all old cars, no matter the number of doors. They ain't making any more of 'em, so we need to save as many as possible. I'd rather see a ratty 4 door going down the road, than go to scrap. And anything old, is way cooler than anything new.

My 52 Special 41D, she’s nowhere near finished but mild custom is the way the project is gonna go. Slightly inspired by Yarils old 51 2door
