  2. Wow, talk about a home run. Gorgeous truck.
The only problem I see is that it is making me second guess my color choice. What is the paint called? Paint code?

When the term traditional hot rod comes up this is what I think of and the color is perfect. And to be honest I hate gold, but no other color would fit this build better. Bravo Dave , its perfect! Larry

    Very cool. I love it!

More and more I've been liking Model A pickups. This is just making me want one even more.

  21. LOL you should have called me and stayed neutral in the pugilistic endeavor. :D

Deuce dudes are like MOPAR asses, they ruin the fun for a lot of us.

  22. That must be a left coast thing, the guys I associate with, especially on the Deuce Run are more open, even the glass cars are excepted. HRP

  23. I think that the snobbery is fading. The MOPAR heads are still pricks.

As much as any of us will hate to admit it, the "$&^ Rod Craze" has opened us up to doing things that way that we did when we were kids. using what is available and making it cool. It is as though hot rodders couldn't find their way out of the resto-rod craze of the '70s and then all at once we woke up and realized that cars didn't need to look totally stock.

Mixing and matching for me is a good thing. And the little gold pickemup is a prime example. Who really cares if the cab grill shell and the fenders are from different years, as long as it is smooooooooth.

  24. For the guys that don't know the difference, the wide 3rd. belt line behind the cab distinguished it as a 34 ,,the 32 & 33 share a double belt line profile.

We jokingly started calling it the confused pickup 10 years ago when we were building my truck.

Most of the truck is 32. HRP
