    Here's my '64 .060 over 409 after a cleanup and new paint, some organizing, a few finned aluminum parts and some tig welded stainless fuel line. Just tossed it back in my '59 Impala.

    ...i can't help but notice the amount of free advice and negative opinions of members on this site, but i think giving credit to others, from time-to-time, is important and that also doesn't cost a penny!

  4. It's a 406 with early 202 heads. Isky solid lifter cam. We smoothed the block & ground/filled the motor mounts. Manifolds are Fenton repops, Edelbrock intake & carbs. Cal-Custom Air cleaners.

  5. Oh forgot.... It's got an old DuCoil distributor, chrome front mount & we chromed the script on the valve covers broken up by a white stripe.

    No sbc Chevy hater here, great looking engine you put together.
    If by "early 202 heads" you mean camel hump style early, then those are 1968 production model heads with the "291" casting number. One year only and last ones prior to the acc. bolt version. The giveaway is the camel hump casting with the temp sender on the side.
    If I'm wrong well, at least I'll get over it.
    Oh yea, love script valve covers too.

    Awesome. I have something like this in mind for when i actually build a 58 chevy. Never seen the cal custom covers on dual quads, but on tri power they look killer

    Details on that front engine mount that the motor is hanging from? Where is it attached to the block?

    It's from an early Corvette but I am not sure where all it mounts too. There's someone on here that will know more.
