Subscribed! I've got a 37 Plymouth coupe that I've wanted to chop. Always thought the roof looked pancaked on all the chops I've seen. You fellas nailed it! Quarter window proportions are spot on.

Thanks! One fella & one chick;)
    Thanks, whose Joe?

Here are more pics after media blasting. Clark's been doing some rust repair on the fenders, body etc. He mocked up some kustom running boards. We will make kustom skirts as well, these were just to get a good visual. Looking awesome as usual you two!

  10. People can see that this was not just a chopped top. The level of fit, fabrication, and finish is top quality. This is what you are noted for. You have made the proverbial silk purse out of a sow's ear. Thanks for the pictures. they show what is really required to get it right. Keep up the great work.

You are taking the hardest parts of customizing/restoring and making it look easy. Really nice work being done here, looking forward to more.

I have to asked, are you using a TIG welder, I do not see much build up of material on your tags. Also your welded seams look very narrow, if you are using TIG, what size tungsten electrode are you using, must be a one with a very small diameter.

I love the welding, it looks beautiful, if I start practising now, I might be that good in 5-10 years.

Thank you, a woody huh? That's interesting.
No problem, thanks for checking it out!
Thanks, Im glad you think so!
    Thanks a lot!
Thanks, well it's cool when you can take something that didn't have a lot of value originally and modify it to make it what you want.
Thank you! It's challenging, but anything worth doing is!
Yes, we TIG weld all of the sheet metal. We use 1/8th with a very sharp point for panels and if we are welding sheet metal all day then we will use 1/16th. It just depends on what we are doing.
    Thanks, we appreciate that!
Too funny! Thanks, I'm just happy to be alive let alone alive on the hamb!
Thanks! The more time you spend, the better you will get. We are constantly trying to get better & learn more. I'd say we learn something new everyday and just strive to do better tomorrow than we did today.

  26. You two do amazing work and have a great eye artistically. You make it appear effortless when I'm sure it is anything but that.

Are those long , blue handled clamps aluminum?? Make?
I've got some 18" clamps that are handy as hell , but awkward to use because of the weight ( and if over tightened they tend to twist) not that I would ever do such a thing (!)
