Guys I will be visiting the southern California area between 12july and 26july this year I would be interested in any Banger related events during this time if you could let me know times are set due to Jills leave and cant be changed dam that means I will miss the F.A.S.T. event a few days before I am hoping to view a few banger cars while I am there.

  18. Russ,
Well now, if you really want to see some Banger stuff, ElMirage race is scheduled for July 16th.
Saturday, 15th will be tech and registration, a good time to bring libations and hear lies before the racing begins.
There is usually some really wild race stuff out there and some great hot rods running around.
PS, get your tetanus shot updated, I hear some cars can cause lock-jaw just standing next to them.

nice cars ... but a little humpy

  22. Same car just different wheels and tires with the sidemount removed. I didn't build it, just recently purchased it. I would have made it a little less bulbous if it was me. I think I'll call it the J. Lo. Special, since it has a big brown booty!!

I am using a low-pressure Airtex in-line pump. They are quiet and available in 12 volt (E8016) or 6 volt (E8902) from Summit and Amazon. This particular version pumps at 2.5-4.5 psi so you can use it with your Stromberg without a regulator if you choose. Good value at around 40 bucks.
