ok...ok... Enough... 12" to 18" more expected Wed / Thur. ... will it ever melt ? I cut the floor from the A bed... then transplanted a Maple tree into the hole where the rearend's pig would be... see it sticking its neck out ?
looking out, trying to, my computer room's window... not all falling snow as some of it slides off the roof...
Almost time for a spring is here thread. Was 35 degrees yesterday, and raining pretty good. Was out with steel wool washing my truck, no garden hose needed.
Still on the cold side at 32 and windy. I tried to get out the back door of the house to put a steak on the grill last night... only nobody cleared the snow on the deck and the door wouldn't open. All the snow has an ice glaze to it. The weekend is supposed to crack 50 and maybe 60. Next week will be between 42 and 53.
Two days ago, I'll add pics of last nights dump later! Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Sorry to have to share this .... But it is a beautiful day in the neighborhood .... Melbourne, Florida - 69 degrees and sunny. Florida Jim
I think it is time for me to move! Looking around Knoxville TN. this time. I have an old friend down there. Any other HAMBers that like Tennessee?
Winter is today. tomorrow is back to high 70's and low 80's. Suffering today at 40 degrees, high of 67. Have to wear long pants and a sweatshirt this morning.
I laugh when I go to Florida. I was in St. Augustine in 2010 or so and we were shopping, it was a grey day and about 65. Easy to spot the locals... they had on winter coats. I was in shorts and a t-shirt.
ct1932ford,I am right here in Sevierville T.N. about 30 minutes from Knoxville on my own mountain top.Nice no one bothers me about working on cars or painting them. Bruce.
Years ago we almost bought a business in Knoxville. Both my partner and I coming from Orlando FL were not thrilled with the mountainous terrain and the narrow roads in and around Knoxville. Guess old flat Fl had ruined us after 7 years of living there back in the late 70's.
Rocky it was 63 here today and I had the shop doors open. Monday and Tuesday they say its going to be 70.I know if I start a garden BAMM we will get slammed so I just will keep working on the 56 Chrysler with the shop doors open. LOL. Bruce.
Vtwhead, I came up from Central Flordia about 19 years ago{Mount Dora are}.Yea the roads take a little getting used to. Try cruising around them in a big old 56 Chrysler.LOL.Bruce.
