    George you're right,
    That isn't that far from me. When you guys make your plans let me know. If there is a way for me to meet up I will even if its for a coffee someplace. It'd still be cool to meet up regardless of where.

    Do any of you guys re-read other posts and realize that you left out a name, and feel a little embarrassed that you forgot a name on your list? But still think that person deserves to know you have a tremendous respect for the accomplishment and every time they post a good-old-story, you feel you are there, and make you really wish you was there.

    And I feel the same way about his posts, and the same awe I feel when Gene cromer and Rockerhead writes on here;
    It's

    Dean Lowe

    After reading this story, amongst others;

    http://www.ussarcherfish.com/roadrunners/HowardEater.htm

    I really wish I get to talk to him in person, because he seems to be the kind of guy any lad wants to grow up to be!

    EDIT, this came out more corny then exspected, but no turning back now.

    that's the problem with a thread like this! like Highlander, for instance.

  8. yep, way to hard to list just one. i think it would be easier to list the one/s you HOPE to never meet.;)

    Does Denmark count, because if you drop by Denmark, I buy you a beer, and show you the best/worst spots for cars

    What's wrong with Highlander? Lol

  10. If you read my reply my answer was very Diplomatic, I could never opt for just one person,I have enjoyed meeting the Hambers I have been lucky enough to run into but I am also looking forward to getting to know as many members as possible. HRP

    Six pages in, and I've yet to see MY name. Perhaps it's time for Ryan to create a coloring book for those of us that feel we have been left out.

  14. I have to say that I have met and dealt with a select few HAMB'ers over the course of many years and they are all stand-up guys. Who would I like to spend some time with? Moriarity, of course, to just tour his garage; Gene Winfield to shadow him even for one day just to stand in awe; Hotrodladycruisr because she has cookies; and Ngo Long Dong to swap one-liners...If the Rev. Billie F. is on here, him too! Just because he is who he is :)

    You're going to need more than that to make a decent Brunswick stew.

    It would be Orn in Sweden. He has an Olds just like mine and he has helped me envision what direction to go with it. I haven't been on a plane in 20 years either!!

    Yup, I think this would be way faster. The handful I have met have been terrific guys, and given the time, I could probably come up with 100 people on here I'd like to yak with.

    I haven't met Kiwi Kev, but I DID meet Kiwi Tinbender at Monroe this fall, great guy. Hope we meet up again sometime in a little more relaxed atmosphere where we can really sit down over a coffee. I am a little "hyper" at swap meets...

    Hotrodprimer would get my vote. Why, cause he appears to be a solid dude, mostly though because he lives in the same town as my son, daughter in law and grand babies! Would like to spend time with all of them.
