  1. I found this 64 Chevy hard top, very savable. The fenders looked a little like model A. But their not. 011.jpg

  2. ^^^ most 64 Impalas I see are like this, low-riders. ;)

I'd be dragging that Buick home. Even though I'm not a 4 door guy I don't like seeing any of them getting crushed.

  10. Tried to buy it but never got it. '53 Sayers and Scovill Knickerbocker.

  11. There's a guy on another forum I visit that's restoring a more-door Buick in worse shape than the one you want to crush. Maybe he'd buy it for parts?

It not mine, just in the local yard I've been buying from , the buick is just too much work for me to get out. Not worth much around here either.

  13. I went vintage tin hunting today with my good friend Timmy {1low52} And we found these 59 Edsels on a farm. The farmer said he would take $2000. for the pair. 006.jpg 007.jpg 009.jpg 008.jpg

59 Ford, drag racer left for dead. Hurst shifted three speed behind some sort of FE engine, class winner stickers on the windows but really faded

The snakes remind me of a Hudson Terraplane I sold twice and when the buyers came to get it they found rattle snakes and left. Never asked for their money back. The third buyer just shot them and loaded it up.

VT , can you see where class winner stickers are from ? Over the line a little bit in NY from you. Devils Bowl always a round track , or was that straight line in the day ? If that's a recent picture ? It shows how mild our winter is . Usually Snow up to Windshield.

Took those pics last weekend, stickers are almost unreadable, but are from Englishtown NJ, before it was E-Town. Monmouth County Dragway?

  22. Belongs to a good friend of mine, he's in his 70s. Has 2 converts and a hardtop, all 348 cars. This particular car was a 348, powerglide, factory silver and black combo, with "level-air" ride. He said a guy he went to high school with owned it and he had installed manual valves to let the air out of the bags independently. He said when he parked it at school on Mondays it might be laying on the rockers, Tuesdays it might be nose down and ass up, Wednesday it might be a taildragger...etc. Who says air ride isn't traditional... lol. The other ragtop is his very first car (I don't have a pic of it tho) and the hardtop is the third car he ever bought (factory black with red tri-tone interior.) He has tons of kool shit, I hope he lives another 70 yrs just so I can keep sharing stories with him.

Man, I'd love to take a peak into that motor and see if there's any goodies in it. Looks like a dual point's still in it. Shame to see the old warrior waste away.

Thought about asking if I can get it out of there, even if just for the adventure of it, and pass it on to someone else. Problem is I like to keep everything. It's not in terrible shape.

  27. The valve covers are 67 and later. The intake manifold is 64 and older. It likely is the original 300 hp interceptor 352. Put a stick and 411 gears behind them and they where a different animal from a crusomatic with 300 rear gears. That would be a fun car to drag out and get running again.
