Put a Hemi in it and drive the wheels off!! You can always go back to 'stock' but why would you want to?

There are a lot of rare Dodge cars and trucks. Parts chasing is 75% of our hobby.... LOL

What a shame, these trucks are so easy to get running. I bought all the brake parts and everything else "rubber" from carquest to get my 1959 on the road. I had it burn out ready in under 30 days. I wish that my ex wife hadn't talked me into selling it.... Boo!

Ain't that the truth. If I ended up with bone stock stuff in good condition, I'd just sell it off to fund something else.

  5. Nice! I assume you found it in Kenosha county?
Just be glad it didn't end up like at some junkyard in Caledonia. Wouldn't doubt that someone would of pulled off that priceless trim for resale, then it's put out in front lot for sale. Seen people do similar things.

I've never seen a pic of an unrestored one that solid! Nice score on a very rare truck.

You might want to contact a guy here in Washington state, Dallas Kenworthy. He has a ton of '57 dodge parts- I think there are some station wagon quarters in there. 509-551-6314.

There are 2 for sale on ebay but I think they are 315 polys around 1500 each. One in Idaho other in California I think.

The use of three different Chevy taillight lenses ('60, '62, '65) was creative!

Turner's Auto Wrecking will sell you a engine around $600.00. He is in Fresno. He is in his 90's, so don't delay too long.

I forgot to mention that he does have Dodge Poly's still in the cars there. It took me over a half a day to look through his 100 Acre yard.

    Just saw a 315 poly with transmission ebay / Utah 750 b/o.
I've used Fastenal to ship an engine around 300 but you have to trust the guy on the other end .
Paypal insures purchases but you both need accounts.

Got it home, hosed it out, rolled it in my garage. Can't believe how solid it is, only rust thru is the inside bottoms of the doors, and passenger side rear quarter of the bed. Drivers side rear was hit at sometime, it was hammered out and has maybe 1/8" bondo, but solid metal underneath. It was yellow under the orange and on the back side of the cab from under the bed I can see the original color of navy blue and white. Letting it sit there for a bit, not in any hurry, I'll keep on eye out for another 315, and I'm starting work on my Wayfarer again in the meantime.
