I've been to Pomona only once, about 6 years ago. Not sure I would go back, especially from NY. Turlock looks better. Is it just auto, or other jnon auto junk like Englishtown, NJ?

Jalopy Joker thanks for posting all those pics. Is Turlock a once a year, one day event?

The January meet is Saturday and Sunday. There are 4 more during the year that are Sunday only, and only a fraction of the size. Different promoters as well. Next is May 7th

I went Saturday lots n lots of people, beautiful warm day. Bob Drake offered a 10% discount and free ship to pick up at their booth so I took advantage of it. Picked up a fresh rebuilt Ford 8" posi unit from another vendor and my wagon was full and heavy.

  18. This was my first time at Turlock. Excellent swap and everything good goes fast! Guys there know what they're looking for and good parts seem to move along faster than at the So. Ca shows.
    Glad I got to go.

Thanks a heap. I love swap meet threads, especially those with photos. guess I'm a swap junkie. I honestly know I would prefer to go to a swap than a static car show, whether I buy anything or not. However I think it's been a long time since I went to a swap without finding something I 'don't' need.

  30. Thanks for the pics! They are the fix I needed to get me amped up for Nashville Swap this weekend.
Good Lord, I'm a swap meet parts junkie!
