Danny, just go to the instagram link in that thread and click on it. The link takes you to the video. You don't have to join up or anything.

Stood right next to it and watched go up and down several times, it ran very smoothly. I was told the owner did all the wiring, he was a very nice guy to talk with, and was having a great time with a finished project that took six years to build. Bob

Awesome , apart from the blonde fluffy wandering in front of the camera.
So that's what it take to win AMBR now.

  12. In one of the build pictures I saw they have a similar feature to the umbrella under the passenger seat to store a flask.

  21. Awesome styling and build quality.
A few things that stood out watching the video.

First, I think it would have looked even better with chrome bumpers. I wonder if that was a consideration in the design process.

Second, When the owner and builders are standing with it, the car is physically a lot smaller than I had imagined. Styled like a big car....but not that big.

Third, how is the floor plan and display spots determined for AMBR? Lottery? Show staff? Appears they had prime real estate, and maybe pre-determined for a 1,2,3 spot?

Fourth, I would have been nervous as hell getting that car on and off the display!

  22. Don't know about the others but here is one of Eric's design sketches that compares the car to the original Packard proportions and it's clearly quite a bit smaller. CCC-ambr-2017-mulholland-sketch-02.jpg

There was video of the roof moving in the Street Rodder live stream. Supposed to be archived on their web site.

  27. I clicked on Lippy's link and it worked fine, and I'm not sure what Instagram even is.
