looking around a field for the doors, etc. gives new definition to "parts hunting".

Sweet! Glad to see another car saved. For driving it to where it sits somebody sure went about tearing things apart.

These tanks were used in the beverage industry and were repurposed as oxygen tanks for aircraft during WWII

Just fill your swimming pool with molasses and start on it in May. Best of luck, although it sounds like you don't need it.

We had one in a shop that I once worked in that was a 4-door, with the remains of a coupe grafted on to it, to make a coupe that never was. Sometimes you have to go that far, just to have one.

This stuff was in leaves and scrap piles around the property. Hope I find the other door and hood today. Wish me luck!

All the best on the search, finding that other door sure would make things handy.

Just my 2 cents - Wise move on waiting to see how it sits before deciding on a chop. Could be a tough one to pull off right and not screw it up. I think anything much over 1 1/2" would destroy the overall lines. I'd have to learn Photoshop or work closely a lot with someone that knows before I broke out the torch and saws.

Do not give up looking for that other door. It is somewhere on the property... In the garage, barn, under the front porch...it has to be somewhere....

    Nice score, -Abone.

The ass end swayed over a bit on the hour long tow truck ride but none of it blew off into the highway. So I'm gonna tarp it, collect parts and finish up my 34 coupe so I can tear into this one. Thanks for all the kind and humorous words guys. I fuckin love this shit.

Those Zephers are beautiful even in that condition. I'm looking forward to watching you save this car.
