All these. The roof profile is quite unusual as well...Interesting however...The Deuce shells seem common to NA. Again this might not be Ford at all...The little pages were a big influence there as well...all part of the Big Mix...
Its interesting how some of the Ford stuff was really near cloned minus drive controls. My Buddy had a Aussy 32 Tub and it had a few subtle differences but nothing that dramatic. The Tudor torpedo type late 30s to 40 sedans are cool too and of course the Utes...Thanks Dago
I am pretty sure that the Aussie coupes used the front doors from the four door sedan. The market volume was so small that the big three did things like that to lower their tooling cost. Roo
You have my friend George's 32 roadster . He got the frame back ,but not the body. He put the frame under his new car.
Here's my 37 Chevy Ute, not a famous hot rod, but using it to illustrate the differences with Australian built. Note the hood sides have long horizontal louvers, whereas the US 37 Chevys have many angled louvers. Kind of like a feather. Also note the character line from where the hood sides bottom, these character lines stop at the cowl and don't continue into the door like they US Chevys do. The doors are smooth without the character line.
not so......Aussie Coupe & Sedan doors are different at the leading edge of the belt line adjacent to the cowl....coupes have an upswept body line that the sedans don't. Deuce1932
I probably should have looked closer at the shot of Stan's car in the initial post. The doors do appear to be the same length as the sedan ones so maybe the inner structure was common and the skins varied. That little upswept feature line would have been a simple "re-strike" as well (I used to work in the OEM industry and we did things like that quite often). Roo

One of the reason for the character line mismatch is that Holden built the same basic body for the Chevrolet, Vauxhall and Willys utes. The Willys had a flat one piece windshield but apart from that the bodies were near identical from the firewall back. Roo
