Sure - but my dance card is filling fast. We can figure out when. Let's shoot for a full house session...that way when you bug bounce your way down the track and I'm upside down and on fire through the lights we can get some entertainment value

  7. Thanks for letting me build your new headers. Here are some before and after pics to show everyone the difference it should make. The car sounded completely different when it left my shop for sure. Can't wait to see the difference on the track. I'm guessing u will be buying a new set of slicks after a few passes on them pie crusts. Anyone on Jeff's dance card better be on their A game that's for sure.

Sounds good we will look you up, do they park the dragsters and altereds together or is it first come first serve?

It's first come first serve, there are small clusters of dragster and alterds together though.

My buddy Larry is working hard to get this finished. he's been down to the event as pit support with us for 4 previous events and has been bitten hard. He'll be looking for everyone and anyone to match up with.

How's it going to handle with the new wheelie bar rule?

  18. it doesn't have to run them. they are a safety item. the car doesnt pull big wheelies.

Hey okie doker where did you get your tubing and collectors for the new headers? Gotta build new headers for the stude because of going to stg 2 heads on my Buick motor. Best I've been able to find price wise is speedway.

  20. I supplied all the tubing and collectors for him.i usually buy the bulk box of bends from summit and then just buy the collectors from them as well. But we have also used the Speedway universal header kit that is available in different diameters think they are around $200 comes with collectors and flanges.

Does anyone have the date for The Heads-Up Drags? I saw June 3, but it was uncertain.

Brian - we have a good match race for you for the weekend...it will be one that will be fun to watch and make for some great photos...

Good day today...got everything ready to change the rear end gears on the Okie....with the artificial lung I don't need as much gear and don't like screaming through the traps. I built the motor to last a long time, I don't need those rpm's. So, got the new spool and bearings and will get another center section set up. That way I have two complete center sections and can change them out if needed.

I am sure most of you guys didn't get a lot of time working on your cars this weekend...too busy marching and stuff probably...
