    When I was a plumber apprentice in Tacoma Wa our yearly field trip was through there and it was an awesome place and so was the tasting room.

    I remmember 7 year old me and Grandpa sitting watching wrestling together every week and watching Him pound the Oly's down! [ Honest Mom, He never let me have any!] This was in Carson, Calif

    … in the summer of 1972 on a road trip up from Berkeley to Seattle, I stopped by the off road section along side the Olympia brewery … as I was kinda chanting the ad line " It's the water and a lot more", I looked down from the bridge like road structure I was standing near into what I can only describe as a stagnant soapy foam like greenish creek and thought yeah it's the water and a lot more … never drank an Oly after that ...

    The water you saw swirling around was @ the bottom of the falls by the brewery which is the downfall of the Deschutes River which runs off of Mt. Rainier to Puget Sound ,the actual water used for Olympia beer was from underground artesian wells , there is still one well that runs freely in the downtown area,the brewery after being acquired by Miller brewing company closed in 2003

    Thankfully cause it was/is bad beer! Give me a Rainier, Schmidt, or Rhinelander anything but Oly!!! I used 5 of the 6er that I bought of Oly for target practice!

    Old carhaulers have fingers missing from these trailers you load the bottom first than top , rear of trailer were on some kind of spring ramp , the skids folded in the middle and here is were you usely cut your finger off was setting the up or takeing the down

  22. yes, and i also like when there is a little info provided also........otherwise my imagination goes wild with crazy storylines behind the photos, government conspiracies, second comings, pirates, girls name Polly............
