Nice time capsule there. Nice restoration/re-do of the old Hot Rod as well. It looks great! Is it still flatty powered?

In about 1962 Ray Hosford installed a 265 Chevy backed by a 37 Packard trans. I wanted a reliable driver (20,000 mi so far) so I went for a 350 crate and a 700r4.

 

Btt of this awesome thread. I'm looking for inspiration for my 29 A roadster. Will be painted gold in the next few days with a black chassis. Just wondering how it will look. A lot of the old pics are not there anymore. Cheers

 

A few changes to The Beast since last post.

 

^^The beast is kinda like a reverse mullet, its business in the back and party up front. Either way, I like it!

1930 model a coupe myself and 5 friends built and raced in our senoir year of high school. 1967

This is the only other picture I have. This is one year later,1968. Repainted it marina blue, put a hilborn injection on it and spelled aggravation right this time. Only had 4 guys involved, 2 joined the army.
