Did they use that small engine to drive the supercharger or to start the engine? I have never seen anything like this before.... Wow!

That is wild. Pulley/belt drive for the injector pumps. Chain drive for the blower. Injectors themselves are pressurized.

 

So same old Friday night (in my world it's night) problem distractions everywhere. So a few 348's early.

I think I posted the story of this Experimental Fuel Injection for the 409 it was one of several types in a test. But alas it wasn't that good on the street and never made production.
