57' 392, engine rebuild happening now and current discussions with others of secretly doing/hiding fuel injection.

May take more than a couple beers for this project.

Poly called Spitfire is a Hemi short block with Canted valve heads like BBC. Wedge is valves in a row like SBC. or later Mopar engines after 1958.The Poly Mopar can be a Hemi with a switch of heads and pistons.

Tres....'92 with four deuces and two 354 industrials on stands with clutches, irrigation pumps. Ran on natural gas at about 2200 rpm

  7. Like the Holley 3-bbl I run on my 354. Totally ridiculous but AWESOME!!

  8. I thought they went to the short bell housing for all Chrysler hemi sizes in '54. Probably a carryover from the '53 production line that got put into the '54.

Only the early hemi based Polys, not the later 318 poly family

'54 NYer was supposed to get the 331 2 bl engines & the NY Deluxe & Imperials were supposed to get the 331 4 bl, seems most all of them got the 4 bl engines.

I only have two '56 354 Chrysler Hemis. One will probably to to my machinist. The other one will go in my Model A.

  17. I have one I was considering using, a 330 DeSoto. I have the short block rebuilt, just need to do the heads and button it up. Its still uncertain what car I will put it in though.

    • Here is an update. Dads 392 with a Jr. Thompson 1/2 inch stroker crank and PAW intake going into his 1937 Dodge coupe gasser. We hope to fire it up before the spring. IMG_20160709_1719064_rewind.jpg
