Danny. Just went looking and found your build thread, having met you and your dad a couple years back when I stopped in at your shop while working in Houston. Given the amazing workmanship I saw in the shop, the quality of this build is honestly no surprise. I'm really loving all the details you are sharing as you go. Inspiring. The only thing I think just might exceed your talent is your humility about what you are able to do. Subscribed.

So stoked on how the fuel line turned out. I wanted to have the least fittings I could get away with, and still jive with the other lines. #brucesrodshop #32mafia IMG_1479946354.405267.jpg IMG_1479946365.555608.jpg IMG_1479946376.560175.jpg IMG_1479946386.960037.jpg IMG_1479946397.297913.jpg

Those fitting you build are things of beauty.

I hit another milestone on my 32 coupe this morning. My AC and heater lines inside the car are done.#32mafia #brucesrodshop IMG_1480703242.374338.jpg IMG_1480703254.142892.jpg IMG_1480703263.527667.jpg IMG_1480703282.860767.jpg IMG_1480703292.372098.jpg

  13. Hi Danny, stunning workmanship across the board. Quick question if I may, are all those 90 degree fittings typically all TIG, and if so, what was the wall thickness of the tubing? 316 or 304?
    Cheers,

Yes they are tig welded. No filler, just fused together. Wall thickness of the tubing is .035"
    304 sst

Got my pedal assembly finished. The top bracket is the pedal stop and brake light switch. #32mafia #brucesrodshop IMG_1481944538.294050.jpg IMG_1481944550.688383.jpg IMG_1481944569.213438.jpg IMG_1481944582.620849.jpg

  21. Man oh man, can't wait till this car has shine all over it.
It's going to be hard to top this one on a future build.

Danny. I remember you giving me a sneak peak at this pedal mount/assembly you had created when I was last in your shop. Great to see it going into this build. Will hope to see the car again soon...maybe LSRU this year?

Wow. Perhaps I should give up after 40 years of trying. You make beautiful stuff, Danny. Also heard that my customer came out and talked to you and your Dad.....

Do you have a P/N or application for that brake switch? Is the clutch pedal going to get something similar so you can't start truck unless clutch pedal is pressed? Looks AWESOME btw.

    Me too.

Every project I'm allowed to run wild on, I wonder how I can improve on the next one. At the end of these kinds of projects I'm always mentally exhausted. I try to give myself some mental rest on some simple jobs, before I tackle another one.

    Glad you dig the work.

The clutch will be just a stop. I've gotten in the habit of pushing the clutch in to start. My daily driver has a switch.

1988 Nissan any model. The thread is 10mm-1.25 IMG_1482065602.230541.jpg
Or a borg/warner s687 this one is getting hard to find.

I wish I could have it finished by then but I should be in the middle of paint by then.

Will the firewall only be stiff enough to prevent flex? Have you thought about an additional brace from the pedal bracket to the body rail up under the dash?
