Yesterday everything was bare. This morning I woke to this. We have about 6" and hasn't let up all day.

"We have about 6" and hasn't let up all day." That's what she said.

Western NY is getting the first lake effect snow. BIG DEAL,happens every year since the beginning of time. The media likes to blow it ALL UP ....Buffalo is getting pounded. Buffalo gets its share but the snow band is south of the city. They just happen to be the largest city near by.The mayor gets his face time at 6pm,,same old thing every year. Ive lived through actually 56 years of it today.Project time for the shop!!

  16. Dwollam. Heck if we got that much snow here in East T.N. it would be grid lock with people running to the stores . LOL. Yea the new always like to blow stuff up., but it will only be in the 30s here tomorrow before SLOWLY warming back up in to the 50s here. And my mother in law laughs when I cut down trees here and split them with the log splitter, when its in the 90 during the summer here. Well I will be enjoying this tonight. Keep warm buddy. image.jpg Got the F1 in the barn just before our big snow comes. First time it's been inside in 20 years.

  23. Its funny, when I saw the first few photos, { of dwollam } I thought that I must have hit the { Vintage shots from days gone by } post. lol Cool collection of vintage tin. Nice weather here in Va. today. I took a little road trip in the Nomad to visit a fellow HAMB er,{ 1Low52 } and good Hot Rod friend. And I found this behind an old barn. I stopped because I saw the Studebaker truck from the road. But the 38 was out of site. looks like its been in the cow pasture for 40 or 50 years. Rough but its still cool. I'm sure it could be bought. But I don't even want to think about the S word Yet! lol Ron... 006.jpg 007.jpg

I'm in Salem, about 45 minutes south of Portland in Oregon. We had a bit this morning, but then it started raining and now there's pretty much nothing left... dammit.

But, it's cold, so I guess it would be appropriate to do a cold start video on the 'ol Cornbinder.

  25. Supposed to get down to 28 or so here in Austin tonight.

Sucks... Last year I was wearing shorts and tennis shoes at this time. But, I fly out tomorrow to Florida to hop a cruise ship on Saturday so I'm glad I'm missing it this week. I'll be surfing the H.A.M.B. from the high seas for a few days.

I don't know how you northern guys do it. I'd be in straight jacket from cabin fever.

Well, I've actually got one arm in it already but that's another story.

Think I've been by your place dwollam. Nice string of old iron. I'm up a little higher here. About 6 or 7 inches and 10 below night before last. Warming up tomorrow. May get above freezing.
