I have searched and googled but am coming up empty. Can anyone steer me towards where I can buy these? Need ten. The wheels have an "A" on the center cap so I assume they are "American" or "Appliance" brand?? Thanks-
You don't really need them to be identical to the one in your picture, do you? The thread size is important, the washer outside diameter is important, the shank diameter is important, and the shank length is important. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/cal-7540042/overview/ might be what you need? 3/4 shank is the one I need, the ones I posted in the pic look like they would be too short in the shank... I would prefer they were the "long" ones, as the center flange of the wheels is pretty thick and the lug nuts are recessed in quite a ways... I did try it though and I could use "short" ones by using a thin wall socket... Got to thinking maybe the "A" could mean Ansen as well?? The back of the wheel says Japan, if that is any clue??
The style of the A is Appliance. Also, center caps are easy to change...does the wheel say anything on the back, besides "made in japan"? How deep is the recess around the nut?

they don't have the kind that is pictured in the first post in this thread, do they? They aren't being made any more. The ones you pictured are the same as the second ones I posted a link to.
The recess for the lug nut is 3/8 deep on the hub side and 37/64 on the tire side. The mounting flange is 3/4 thick so the 3/4 shank with a washer does give me what I need, I think... the back of the wheel has stamped on it- 12 27 Japan 8002A-2 14x7 47A Was pleasantly surprised to see that the fronts will clear the disc brakes
The wheels are Appliance. Made in Japan and the counterbored lug holes make that a sure thing. I doubt the lug nuts in the first picture are original from Appliance. Could be, but I've got lug nuts from Appliance slots I bought new around 1972 and they're not the extended hex length like the ones in your drawing. FWIW, the only thing you get from the extended hex is the ability of someone to slap an inpact socket on them and beat the chrome to death. The shorter originals do require the use of a standard wall socket because an impact socket won't go into the counterbore. The shank length in your drawing is correct in that it matches the originals I have. The ones from Summit Squirrel linked to in his first post should function the same as original.
I'm not quite sure I understand what you're saying about the recesses....can you make a dimensioned sketch of the cross section of the wheel, in the lug nut area?
They are Apliance Plating like Squirrel said.They were the only ones to use the long hex with a short shank due to the lugs recessing into the wheel. I tried to find some years ago , with no luck.
Try Summit Racing. measure your shank depth and get your lug diameter and call them on the phone. 1 800 230 3030 Contrary to popular belief the phone is still your friend.
Jim, the counterbore is 3/8 deep X just large enough to barely clear the 1.062 washer. The length of the thru hole, measured from the base of the c'bore to the back face of the wheel is the 37/64 he mentioned. There is no c'bore on the back side. The thru hole is sized to clear 11/16". The washers are stamped from either 11 ga or 10 ga, so either .120 or .134 thick. Either one will leave too much shank length when installed on a 3/4" long shank.
Before anyone thinks it, don't, not even you Jim. If a squirrel was to be picky about it's nut's. It would surely die before finding it's perfect meal.
