Cool! Like Dick Guyette (this is the first that I've heard of him), I lived in Encino, Calif. in 1959. Unlike him I was only six years old. If only he had been a neighbor! OK, I can't prove that it's from an old magazine but it appears to be a press photo that probably was published in the 1930s.

Aside from the daredevil, which is cool as hell, I'm intrigued by the front suspension of this car.

 

It's sad for me----because the girls in post #966 know more about getting more power out of an engine than me...........
