    ralph....sadly not mine..just a pic I found elsewhere on the Hamb.
    I could never find any more info on the car..though someone on here must know it.
    It does it for me.. very nice stance & chop... I would guess around 6"

    these are all about 3-1/2 chops, the top once is just a strait chop, the other two prob have 1/4 to 3/8 more wedge or there abouts in the front, bottom one was chopped some where abouts 1954/1955, bottom one might be 3-3/4 chop but i was pretty sure it was 3-1/2.

    Here it is finished. 4 inch straight chop. Windshield posts have not been laid back.[​IMG]

    How is this chop acheived without laying the A pillar back? Looks great!

  25. Stretch the roof! Weld in a piece of steel about 1" depending on how much you chop.

    Well yea! in my mind I was thinking the drip rail hadn't been changed in that pic, but that makes sense and I'm sure it has.

    I leaned the posts on my 3.5 inch chop but years ago I took my body man a 4 ft section of drip rail that he has cannibalized to stretch the top on many 32 chops

    Baron, I love the chop on the gray primer coupe . They chopped my coupe 2 days ago, waiting for the photos. I will post them as soon as I get them.

    Great. Look forward to seeing them. Your car should have the exact look that you want. If we all wanted them to look the same, we'd be restorers instead of hot rodders.
