Thanks for starting the new banger meet Jim. Checking in for the month. Not much car related going on in my garage right now. Building X-Mas yard art for the wife currently. No fear, I will be working on the interior for my car later this winter.

    Snowing waaaaaay East.

A friend came to visit and helped take the latest little banger apart. We had to pull the oil pan, rods, and main caps all necessary to get the flywheel off. Seems Fiat engineers didn't think much and the bell housing shape doesn't allow flywheel removal otherwise.

My hands are still shaking too much to do much. The radiant barn heaters do make workshop is cozy!

  9. Dec? already?
Well this year a bust, Bonneville made one decent run in 3 days @149 FM and 157 exit.
ElMirage was fun, dropped valve but saved head and block.
Nov Elmer injector problems, gotta quit rushing to get to race!

Happy Safe Holidays to All, J

Here's the latest progress on my shop. As soon as I get the new electrical panel in, I can take down the old walls inside and pour the floor. shop now.jpg

The adapter for the 904 is made by a guy in california. pm me if you want me to send you his contact info.

  22. There is a guy who makes one for the 904, he is, I've been told, in ill health so ' not giving out his contact info until he finishes mine. I realize that is selfish of me but at 80 I don't want to start looking again!! Seems like a Flat O kit would work for a C 4 with an A to 39 adapter. Would be like bolting up to 59A. If I were serious would call Flat O and ask!

Sent from my iPad using The H.A.M.B. mobile app

  23. Found this on the sight! not cheap though!
    Ford Model A & B to Chev Auto $1195.00
I'm so tempted to run an aluminum polished 2 speed Powerglyde on my next 4 banger hill clinb car build!

We politely call that a cranial/anal inversion

    thanks 28 , I needed the confirmation

  29. Steve,
You now require a "Cranial removal from Rectum".
No worries, I have my best ideas when hiding from reality.......

I have one of the Mod "A" to Chev trans plates in the race car. It is worth every cent paid for it.
The full kit is expensive, but includes everything except trans and TC.

I think that Iandola made the first 904 adaptors, and I think Art Moore still runs one.
